Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR.
• Analytic ability and strong communication skills.
• Oral, listening and written communication skills.
• Strong human relation skills to collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent, evidence-based nursing care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance patient plan of care.
• Participate in handoffs and ensure patient safety.
• Mentor/precept new team members and support unit operations.
