Job summary

Configure, a family-owned plastic injection molding company, is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician for its North Baltimore, OH area. You will operate injection molding machines, launch new molds, and help drive productivity improvements while ensuring quality and safety.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to lift heavy boxes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes regularly.
• Wittmann Robot experience is a plus.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
• Set up and launch first piece production.
• Knowledge of different resins and their performance under various process parameters.
• Processing experience with open and closed loop systems.
• Basic understanding of mold construction and material types.
• Maintain work area and equipment; keep it clean and organized.
• Communicate with previous shift for important job information.
• Communicate with supervisors when issues arise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
