Job summary

Configure, a family-owned plastic injection molding company located in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a 2nd Shift Operator to run injection molding machines and ensure quality products for end consumers. The role focuses on maintaining efficiency, visual inspections for defects, deburring and cleaning, and accurate reporting.

The position reports to the shift Process Technician and requires a High School diploma or GED, ability to stand, basic math skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
• Inspect items and sort by means of visual inspections to insure they are defect free.
• Prep product via deburring and cleaning to meet product standard.
• Inspect and pack product in accordance with the standard.
• Maintain work area and equipment by cleaning, organizing and keeping it in orderly condition.
• Provide accurate production reporting and scrap counts at the end of the shift.
• Communicate with previous shift to receive important job information.
• Communicate with Team Leaders and supervisors when there are issues.
• Complete other duties, as assigned.
