Job summary

Oertel Metal Works in Davenport, IA is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our finishing team. This full-time, overnight position paints and finishes fabricated metal products, prepares surfaces, mixes coatings, and ensures work meets customer specifications and Oertel’s quality standards.

You will operate industrial spray equipment, perform touch-ups, and help keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with liquid coatings and finishing processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply liquid coatings to fabricated metal products.
• Operate and maintain industrial spray equipment.
• Mix paints and coatings and perform touch-ups.
• Package finished parts for shipment and maintain a clean work area.
