Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Cheektowaga, NY facility on a 12-hour rotating shift (6 PM–6 AM). The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, with a pay range of $35 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of machine repair and industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong preference for advanced skills in machine repair and PLC control systems repair and maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose machine problems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to coordinate schedules with machine operators.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure product quality and timely production.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test equipment; document repair activities.
• Observe and diagnose malfunctions using testing devices.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform welding/fabrication as needed.
• Order parts and supplies; maintain safety and cleanliness.
