Job summary

ALPLA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install equipment, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support facility maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient in a temperature-controlled plastics facility.

This second shift role (2/2/3) runs 7:30pm–7:00am, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and ongoing hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety.
• Requires basic mechanical understanding and repair capability.
• Requires basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Requires knowledge of occupational math for measurements and calculations.
• Requires problem solving and team collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Set up proprietary equipment and perform regular maintenance to prolong lifespan.
• Adjust machinery to meet production requirements and optimize performance.
• Use predictive maintenance methods and diagnostic tools to prevent downtime.
• Diagnose and repair molding machines; collaborate with experts to address issues.
