Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment in our Cartersville, GA facility. You will help keep machinery running smoothly to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

The role requires hands-on capability with mechanical and electrical systems, diagnostic tooling, and a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely record-keeping of maintenance work orders and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and testing components.
• Follow safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Must be able to operate in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in dusty/chemical environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Diagnose issues with diagnostic tools and experience.
• Repair or replace parts as necessary.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond to urgent repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance and work orders.
• Coordinate with teams and communicate issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety.
• Generate and close work orders in operating systems.
• May be on-call.
• Maintain regular attendance and scheduling flexibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
