MAC Incorporated in Suffolk, VA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, especially with 480V systems, PLCs, and VFDs.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production equipment and participate in continuous improvement projects. Ideal candidates have PLC experience, are able to edit PLC programs, and can cross-train across lines.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance-related experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems and motor drives (AC/DC).
• PLC troubleshooting experience and ability to modify/edit PLC programs.
• Strong understanding of VFDs, single and three-phase motors, and control systems.

Mansioni

• Maintain and troubleshoot all production line equipment to prevent or repair mechanical/electrical failures.
• Cross-train on all lines and participate in PM and maintenance improvement efforts.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and modify PLC programs; understand control loops and industrial networks.
• Coordinate with other technicians and line personnel across shifts; document activities in the EAM system.
