Charter Manufacturing in Cleveland is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the night shift to support plant operations by maintaining mechanical systems, reading blueprints, and collaborating with electrical teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and parts fabrication; candidates should have 3+ years of industrial maintenance, hydraulics, welding, and machining experience. Physical demands apply; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; free GED program available.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, welding, machining, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read blueprints and use technical manuals.
Safe operation of forklifts, cranes, and aerial lift platforms.
Basic math and computer skills; strong teamwork and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment across the facility.
Analyze test results, error messages, and operator feedback to diagnose and resolve issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, installations, and equipment support.
Collaborate with Electrical Maintenance Technicians to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Maintain accuracy within the parts inventory system.
Utilize machining centers to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
Comply with Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures.
