Job summary

The Maintenance General position at Agropur's Little Chute, WI plant keeps the facility running and in compliance with all rules/regulations by using safe methods of equipment repair and upkeep.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, install and repair equipment, and work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining high quality. The role includes advancement opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining plant equipment and utilities.
• GMP knowledge and safety procedures are required.
• Ability to work a 2-2-3 night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install, update and repair equipment.
• Work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining high quality.
• Repair or replace valves and pumps (seals, steams, O rings, seats, bearings, etc.).
• Perform basic electrical wiring (switches, outlets, starter, motor leads, etc.).
• Perform basic pipe fitting as directed.
• Handle all equipment and chemicals safely.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of all process areas in the plant.
• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Safety Protocol: Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
• Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
• Support safety policies and programs.
