Job summary

Sonoco, located in Winchester, KY, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This role supports night shift operations (7PM-7AM, rotating) with a $32.88–$41.31 per hour pay range, dependent on experience.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. The position requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, with expertise in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety policies and reduce risks.
• Supplies and maintains own tools.
• Performs preventative/predictive maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
• Reads and uses C-Works for documentation.
• Able to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Installs/troubleshoots/repairs drives/motors; PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and minimize risks.
• Communicate with operations to resolve abnormal conditions.
• Read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install/repair PLC programs and control systems.
