Job summary

Industrial Pallet Corp in Greencastle, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains equipment to meet uptime and safety goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work across shifts, collaborating with a team and applying mechanical and electrical know-how to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support plant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools and specialized maintenance tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Willing to work assigned shifts and support operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust as needed.
• Install electric motors and perform basic VFD programming.
• Troubleshoot control circuits and production equipment.
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machines and facility equipment.
• Complete all work orders safely and in accordance with IPC processes.
• Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, maintenance team members, and plant leadership.
• Support maintenance technicians across all shifts as needed.
• Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production.
• Track spare parts usage and assist with inventory management.
• Work within established schedules and production requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.

Who We’re Looking For

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in keeping our operation running safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support site goals, uptime, and safety standards.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

_ Our hours of operation are: _

1st Shift – 6 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift – 3 PM - 11 PM

3rd Shift – 10 PM - 6 AM

What You’ll Be Doing

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
