Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking an Industrial Equipment Supervisor to oversee maintenance and automation of all plant equipment. The role includes leading a team of technicians, implementing preventive maintenance, and driving automation projects to boost productivity and efficiency.

The position is night shift, Tuesday through Saturday, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
3+ years in industrial equipment maintenance and/or automation in plastics.
Experience with PLC programming and robotics is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of industrial equipment technicians.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify automation opportunities.
