Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC seeks a dependable General Laborer to support daily shop floor operations in Navasota, TX, across heat treatment, forging, welding, and material handling to maintain production flow and high-quality output.

The role requires experience in heavy manufacturing environments, ability to operate shop tools and cranes, and reading blueprints or measurements. You will follow strict safety policies and may work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in heavy manufacturing or related environments.
Ability to operate standard shop tools and equipment including cranes and forklifts (certifications are a plus).
Ability to read blueprints and measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

Assist machine operators, welders, and forge personnel with setup, material loading, and part movement.
Transport raw materials and components between work centers using cranes or material handling equipment.
Support post-production finishing tasks such as grinding, deburring, sanding, or coating applications.
Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and adhere to LOTO protocols.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to shop leadership.
