General Labor (temp-to-Hire)

Shift:1st 5am-3:30pm

2nd 3:30pm-2am

Location:Houston, TX 77082 (Energy Corridor)

Start:ASAP

Pay:$18-$20/ hour

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This position involves a variety of hands‑on tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the production process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, performing physical tasks such as palletizing, cement lining, sandblasting, painting, assembly, lifting heavy parts, operating machines, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

• Palletizing:Safely and efficiently organize and stack products onto pallets for shipment, transfer, or storage.
• Cement Lining:Apply cement lining to ductile iron fittings by hand or equipment as needed,
• ensuring quality and consistency in the application.
• Machine Operation:Operate manufacturing machinery safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols and production schedules. May involve setup, part placement, and monitoring. This does not require programing or specialized expertise.
• Sandblasting:Prepare and clean surfaces of metal, concrete, or other materials using sandblasting equipment to remove debris, rust, or coatings.
• Painting:Assist with painting and coating surfaces of manufactured parts using various methods, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
• Assembly:Perform mechanical assembly of parts and components according to detailed specifications and blueprints, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Lifting Parts:Physically lift and move parts, materials, or products of varying weights and sizes throughout the production area.
• Warehouse Cleaning & Upkeep:Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, disposing of waste, and cleaning machinery and workstations regularly.
• Allother duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or general labor role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to50 lbs consistently) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and safety protocols.
