Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a dedicated nightshift general laborer to join our team. The role involves general yard and plant cleanup, loading/unloading materials, and light maintenance, all while upholding safety protocols. No prior experience is required, and the position emphasizes reliability and physical stamina.

The ideal candidate will work 4PM–4AM Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as a half day. You must be ready to operate outdoors in varying weather and around water/barge areas, following all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or similar general labor position is a plus.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and tools.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and company protocols.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clean-up of the yard and plant areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Assist in loading and unloading of construction materials from barges and other vehicles.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks including sweeping, shoveling, and pressure washing.
• Support production operations by providing manual labor as needed.
• Help monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
