Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the night shift. Hours are 6:45pm to 7:15am, 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next.

This onsite role involves supporting the DI water, waste treatment, nitrogen, chillers, and HVAC systems in a high-precision facility. The role requires reading blueprints/drawings, performing preventative maintenance, installing mechanical systems, and assisting with special projects for plant systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial HVAC systems (refrigeration, air handling, pumps, chillers, compressors).
• Desirable: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Controls training/certification.
• Ability to work from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with controls/automation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operation: perform walkdowns, record data, ensure proper operation of HVAC, DI water, Waste and Nitrogen Plants, Chiller Plants.
• Maintenance: perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, Water, Compressed Air, Vacuum, Controls, Life Safety Systems.
• Parts: research vendors and provide quotes for parts/materials.
• Equipment Installation: install pumps, fans, valves, controls, piping.
• Special Project: support engineering/management on construction or modification projects for plant systems.
