Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our night shift in Westlake Village, CA.

The role involves maintaining the office and production facility, performing inspections, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma, 5+ years of related experience, and strong mechanical aptitude with safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of related experience in facility maintenance or repair preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing demanding tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, colleagues and vendors.
• Proactive in identifying issues before they escalate and prioritizing tasks.
• Adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
• Diagnose and repair issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
• Implement proactive measures to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Follow work orders, respond to maintenance requests, and document work completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments and external vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Perform tasks like painting, patching, and basic carpentry.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and perform prompt repairs.
