Job summary

G1 Facility Services in Orlando, FL is seeking an Overnight Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks across our facilities. The role requires troubleshooting and repair of a range of equipment, with emphasis on HVAC and general upkeep.

The position operates on the third shift (11:30pm–8:00am) and offers benefits including medical, vision, dental, life insurance and a 401k.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial facility maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Experience with light electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting.
• Familiar with CMMS for maintenance tasks.
• Valid US driver's license with 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
• Assist with additional electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties.
• Drywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and other general repair duties.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions.
• Utilize CMMS for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to provide insights into equipment performance and customer service needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol.
• Communicate effectively to appropriate individuals about building status and changes.
• Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with clients, co-workers, and vendors.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
