Job summary

Interfor is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team in Thomaston, Georgia, on the night shift. Earn up to $40.74/hour plus night shift premium and competitive incentives as you perform electrical repair and maintenance across the mill.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, maintain control systems, and follow lock-out procedures while documenting work orders to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Reading electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining PLC controls and electrical systems.
• Willingness to operate mill equipment for test runs after repairs.
• Ability to work safely from elevated platforms and heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repair and improvement projects across the mill site.
• Read, write, and understand electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance duties and troubleshoot control systems.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and ensure isolation of power sources.
• Plan and manage work with minimal supervision and submit work orders.
