Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Electrician to keep our manufacturing operations safe, reliable, and compliant. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical systems and equipment, collaborating with mechanics, operators, and other teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in a food production environment.

The role requires hands-on work on plant equipment, adherence to safety and quality standards, and willingness to work a 2-2-3 night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industrial electrical or automation experience, preferably in a food or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• State Electrician License, ISA CCST Level 1 Certification, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety procedures, work instructions, and documenting maintenance activities clearly.
• Physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Able to lift up to 50 lbs, move throughout your shift, varying temperatures, and work safely in loud areas and confined spaces.
• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, overtime, and extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including controls, drives, PLCs, and safety devices.
• Improve equipment performance through control and program updates.
• Support mechanics and operators with electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Update electrical schematics and documentation to reflect changes.
• Support installation and startup of new equipment and facility upgrades.
• Participate in shutdowns, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements at all times.
