Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an experienced RN Team Lead to guide a patient care unit, delegate tasks, and support staffing and workflow. You will lead through education, precepting, and quality improvement while ensuring safe, effective nursing care.

Responsibilities include coordination of care, patient/family education, and adherence to Mayo Clinic Nursing Care Model. BLS and RN licensure required; weekend and night shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate degree or diploma in a nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required.
• Current RN licensure by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with management to plan and coordinate daily work on the unit.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level and resource availability.
• Provide leadership through staff development, teaching, and quality improvement efforts.
• Coordinate nursing care, patient education, and transitions of care within the Mayo Nursing Care Model.
