Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medical ICU RN for the Third Shift at Baptist Medical Center South. This role provides general supervision and coordination of nursing staff on shift, including weekends/holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.

The RN will use the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and delivery of interventions, collaborating with physicians and clinicians to implement plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
• RN licensure and BLS are typically required.
• Certification in ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be area dependent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing personnel on shift and ensure quality patient care.
• Perform nursing assessments, care planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff in care delivery.
• Work on weekends/holidays as part of shift coverage.
