Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a part-time Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the Third Shift at Baptist Medical Center South.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and may require BLS and specialty certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) depending on the unit. The RN will collaborate with physicians and clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care, including during weekends and holidays.
