Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves floating across departments to deliver patient care during night shifts, with ICU exposure as needed.

Required: current RN license in Ohio, BLS, and 1 year of acute care RN experience; ACLS/PALS may be required based on assignment. EPIC EHR familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the designated state of employment (required).
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS may be required based on specialty.
• 1 year of experience as an RN in acute care is required.

Responsibilities

• Float to various departments to provide patient care as needed.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling within a shift.
• Deliver nursing care following established standards and policies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions and responses.
• Collaborate with the health-care team and clinical manager.
• Maintain patient safety and quality improvement practices.
