Job summary

Turkey Hill is seeking a Packaging Associate to operate and monitor the ice cream packaging line. You will ensure correct cup and lid feeding, proper ingredient addition, and accurate date coding for each flavor while maintaining clean, safe packaging standards.

Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and committed to GMP and safety protocols. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a focus on career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Perform duties in accordance with GMP regulations and safety guidelines.
• Must adhere to the zero tolerance policy for positive drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Feed correctly identified cups and lids into the filler and unscrambler.
• Ensure all ingredients are added to the package before first sellable product and checked thereafter.
• Inspect containers for proper lid fit, fill, and clean packaging prior to wrapping.
• Verify machine setup includes correct date codes before startup for each flavor.
• Collaborate with Freezer Operator to ensure efficient changeovers.
• Perform CIP and COP per SOPs and checklists.
• Maintain high safety standards for people, equipment, and facilities.
