Job summary

RRD is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation on the night shift in Newark, DE. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting to maximize uptime and throughput.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, training of production technicians, inventory control, and accurate documentation. Prior experience with high-speed automated machinery and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree, technical certification, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification preferred.
• 3-5 years related electro-mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of industrial controls and I/O systems.

Responsibilities

• Primary functions: provide production support, troubleshoot problems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize throughput and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, network, and computer hardware/software in assigned area.
• Inspect machinery daily and document problems; perform PM activities per plan.
• Record maintenance activities and inventory usage; train and coach new technicians.
