Job summary

CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Associate in Omaha, NE seeks a professional to assist in developing procedures and guidance within the EHS program. This role supports programs to safeguard employees and surrounding communities, with a night shift from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Saturday.

You will help monitor injury, illness, and incident performance, verify permits for compliance, and present findings with recommended solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to convey complex content concisely.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Develop and implement complex strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Verify permits, licenses, and records for compliance purposes.
• Present inspection records, complaints, and suspected violations with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients, and employees of advanced control regulations and inspection findings.
• Assist in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to solve complex problems and identify new techniques.
• Impact own team and closely related teams.
• Suggest process improvements to increase team efficiency.
