Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Housekeeper II for the third shift (Mon-Fri 10:30pm-7:00am with rotating weekends/holidays). You will perform routine cleaning across hospital sites, maintain cleanliness and safety, and support infection control procedures for patients, families and staff.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• TCI certification may be required if housed within behavioral health environment, within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance issues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning procedures and uses appropriate chemicals safely.
• Follows infection control practices and uses PPE as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of closets, carts and equipment; supports department standards.
