Franklin Hospital in Farmington, ME is seeking a full-time Security Officer to join their team. The role focuses on keeping patients, visitors and care team members safe through proactive patrols, incident response, policy enforcement and excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will stay calm under pressure, demonstrate strong documentation, and be willing to train if needed. The position is 36 hours per week, night shifts, with wages between $20.27 and $24.36 per hour and a comprehensive

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; IAHSS Basic certification required within one year of hire.
• License/Certifications: Valid Driver’s license based on role; BLS within 30 days; CPI/NIMS 100/200/700 as applicable; proficiency with equipment within 30 days.
• Experience: Prior hospital safety/security experience preferred; basic computer efficiency and ability to learn security systems.
• Additional Skills: Must be 18+, ability to respond to behavioral emergencies and use approved physical intervention techniques when required.
• Preferred: strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
