Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking a Senior Security Officer for the night shift to lead the shift and act in the supervisor's stead when needed. You will handle hospital security incident investigations, crisis response, and safety-related emergency actions.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, PA driver’s license, and CPR/AED certification within six months. Preferred candidates may have police academy training and some security experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid Pennsylvania state driver's license required.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) within six months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Act as a group leader for their shift and assist the supervisor in their absence.
• Conduct security incident investigations and crisis response.
• Provide safety-related emergency response and assist with combative patient interventions.
