Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for the night shift. Join a Magnet-designated health system providing comprehensive care in a hospital setting. You will maintain cleanliness for patient and non-patient areas, follow infection-control procedures, and support a safe environment for patients and staff.

Previous janitorial experience in a health-care or similar environment is preferred. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work a night schedule from 11:00

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital cleaning standards is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with health-care staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the hospital by following routine cleaning procedures.
• Provide cleaning for patient and non-patient areas of the hospital.
• Use cleaning tools and supplies to ensure high standards of sanitation.
• Assist with special cleaning tasks and report maintenance needs as required.
