Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking an overnight food service supervisor responsible for training and managing the overnight kitchen and dining operations, ensuring food prepared meets patients' diet plans and quality standards.

You will supervise staff, monitor productivity, ensure timely meal delivery, uphold safety HACCP practices, and coordinate with nursing staff to satisfy patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of food preparation experience; large-scale hospital dietary experience preferred; catering experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service overnight operations and ensure proper quantity prep.
• Monitor staff productivity and safety; maintain quality and temperature standards.
