Job summary

MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily Food & Nutrition Services for patients, staff, and visitors. You will supervise dietary aides and cooks, ensure tray line accuracy, and maintain sanitation standards across departments.

The role requires 3-4 years of supervisory experience in an acute care setting, with strong knowledge of food service operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years supervisory experience in an acute care environment.
• Experience in food service and purchasing is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns, and supervises dietary aides for patient meals, tray lines, and service quality.
• Inspects trays for attractiveness, accuracy, palatability, and temperature prior to service.
• Maintains sanitation, safety, and documentation, including temperature logs and sanitation records.
