Job summary

OhioHealth in Van Wert is seeking a Part-time Environmental Service Associate for night shifts (20 hours/week). You will clean patient rooms, public areas and service areas, and support patient comfort and safety through meticulous cleaning and organization.

Responsibilities include handling cleaning requests, operating equipment safely, stocking carts, and assisting with storeroom duties while delivering courteous customer service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred for individuals over 18.
• No degree required for entry level roles.
• Must meet hospital safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• 40% Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance request from system or sheet and performs duties; may move beds or furniture and completes required paperwork.
• 20% Follows direction and proper usage of equipment and notifies area through work orders to maintain equipment.
• 10% Stocks carts and areas; linen distribution included in stocking.
• 10% Willing to perform other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• 20% Delivers high level customer service to patients and other customers throughout OhioHealth.
