Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation seeks an Environmental Service Associate to maintain patient rooms, public areas, and service areas, providing excellent cleaning and customer service. You will follow department processes and contribute to hospital safety and efficiency.

The role involves evening shifts with 24 hours scheduled per week in Environmental Services, supporting quality and patient care across the health system.

Qualifications

• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only if they have a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.

Responsibilities

• 40% Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance request from automated system, daily assignment sheet or verbal direction.
• 20% Follows direction and proper usage of all equipment used in job performance; equipment cleanliness is required.
• 10% Keeps all assigned carts and areas stocked to appropriate operating levels; linen distribution included.
• 10% Willing to complete other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• 20% Uses high level of customer service throughout the OhioHealth organization to patients and customers.
