Job summary

AdventHealth in Manchester, KY seeks a dedicated foodservice team member to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records. You will review pull sheets, organize ingredients, and ensure a clean, compliant kitchen with proper temperature controls.

You’ll manage inventory, support operations, and collaborate with managers to meet daily goals in a fast-paced hospital setting. Prior foodservice experience and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cooking methods.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Therapeutic diet knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of food industry operations.
• Ability to cook precisely and multi-task under pressure.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Good oral communication and customer service.
• Ability to follow standard precautions for infection control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records.
• Review pull sheets and organize ingredients for upcoming service periods.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and record temperatures per regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory: sort, label, date, rotate stock to reduce waste.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to meet goals and ensure efficient service.
