OakMed Home Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Nighttime Home Health Aide (HHA) in Hastings, MI for PRN shifts. You will support patients at home during overnight hours, focusing on safety, comfort and independence.

A compassionate, patient-focused approach is essential to provide high-quality, one-on-one care. The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, meal support, and detailed documentation while collaborating with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of patient care and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly during nighttime hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming and activities of daily living.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning and safe patient handling.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Prepare meals and assist with basic nutritional needs as directed by care plan.
• Follow patient care plans and safety guidelines, document observations and report changes.
