Bodycote in Andover, MA is seeking an HIP Operator on the 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 11 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). Pay range $24.00–$28.00/hr plus health benefits, 401(k) match, and a $1,500 sign-on retention bonus.

The role is safety-sensitive and requires ITAR-compliant citizenship or permanent residency, with potential overtime. Qualifications

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience with heat treatment operation and/or drinking/waste water management.
• May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Build and box cycles, loading/unloading parts into/out of units, baskets, tubs, racks or containers.
• Operate, control and monitor unit equipment per procedures.
• Operate equipment in the Control Room.
• Create/correct Load Diagrams.
• Update KPI Database.
• Conduct gas analysis and manage reclaimed gas usage.
• Maintain temperature and pressure within delta limits for cycles.
• Determine thermocouple placements for accurate readings.
• Follow PPE and SHE rules and report issues to supervisor.
