Job summary

Bodycote in Andover, MA is seeking an HIP Operator to perform heat treatment tasks under the Production Manager’s direction to meet customer specs. Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, operating units, creating load diagrams, and monitoring cycles with attention to temperature and pressure.

The role requires forklift operation, compliance with ITAR, a High School diploma, and willingness to Work weekends/overtime.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance: US citizen or permanent resident.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with heat treatment operation and/or water management.
• Overtime or weekend shifts may be required.
• Forklift operator certification must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Build and box the cycle and load/unload parts into units.
• Operate, monitor, and control unit equipment per procedures.
• Operate equipment in the Control Room and create load diagrams.
• Update KPI database and perform gas analysis and manage reclaimed gas.
• Set temperatures and pressures for cycles and select thermocouples.
• Follow PPE and SHE rules; report issues to supervisor.
• Operate forklift and crane; perform other duties as assigned.
• Care for customer inventory and prevent loss or damage.
