Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians to perform a variety of maintenance duties on CTRMA projects.

Responsibilities include debris removal, sign and guardrail repair, concrete repair, and compliance with all regulations and company policies. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work safely in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED as minimum education.
• Background checks including criminal record and driving record will be conducted.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Familiarity with the latest technology and mobile apps.
• Ability to adapt to changing work schedules.
• Ability to work safely in varying environmental and weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly while twisting; operate hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance and debris removal.
• Repair signs and guardrails as needed.
• Concrete repair and placement tasks.
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
