Colorado Department of Transportation is seeking a Highway Maintenance Specialist for NW Denver. You will perform snow removal, operate heavy equipment, and maintain roadways to ensure safety and reliability. Work may involve on-call duties and night shifts in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of physical labor and/or heavy equipment operation experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plowing snow and operating heavy equipment.
• Mowing grass and weeds.
• Removing debris from roadways, culverts and tunnels.
• Installing and repairing guardrail, signs, lighting, and pavement markings.
