Job summary

WinCo Foods in Boise, Idaho is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to support store, warehouse and office users in a corporate Windows and AS400 environment. You will learn and apply troubleshooting skills, provide friendly customer service, and document incidents.

The role requires a 3+ year corporate IT background, an associate degree or equivalent, and familiarity with Windows OS, Office, Exchange and AD. Shift is nights Thu-Sun, with availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years in a corporate IT environment.
• Experience with Windows Desktop and MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with AS400 applications and AD/Exchange environments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging IT help desk support to store, warehouse and office users.
• Receive, document and triage incidents; determine if escalation is needed.
• Use remote desktop tools to resolve issues and guide users step-by-step.
• Liaise between customers and IT teams to ensure accurate problem interpretation.
• Maintain accurate ticket logs and assist in training as needed.
