Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join a DoD program supporting the Department of the Navy in Kansas City, MO. The role starts on night shift with potential shift preference after a few months.

Responsibilities include end-user desktop support for a large enterprise network, troubleshooting IT issues, and providing timely ticketing system updates. Active Secret clearance and Security+ are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Must have active Secret Clearance.
• 1+ years of IT experience.
• Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher.
• Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and IT device support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IT support for devices including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile phones, and other network devices.
• Resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issues.
• Work with employees and officials to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Execute operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk.
• Meet service goals by opening/closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering calls.
