Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a heavy equipment operator for the Night Shift to run heavy equipment across a 50+ acre facility, including front-end loaders, knuckle booms, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and all-terrain forklifts.

You will adhere to safety policies, move bulk material, perform routine maintenance, and document daily equipment reports, ensuring efficient production in a rugged outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications.
• Must be able to work safely in a busy mulch yard and operate equipment with precision.
• English literacy for reading, writing, and recording numerical values.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Read job specifications to determine adjustments and material needs.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete daily equipment reports.
• Move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver the equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
