Job summary

Bodycote plc in Fremont, CA is seeking a Heat Treating Technician at levels C, B, or A depending on experience. You will perform essential heat treatment operations under the Heat Treater Leadperson, preparing workloads, loading furnaces, and ensuring customer specifications are met.

The role requires safety discipline, ability to work night shift 9:00pm–5:30am, overtime possible, and ITAR compliance. Training on first shift precedes, with a 2-week transition to night hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must satisfy ITAR compliance: US citizen or permanent resident.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work for processing; loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.
• Brings unusual problems or irregularities to supervisor's attention.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by position.
• Care and treatment of customer inventory and prevent loss or damage.
• Report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with coworkers, and accept feedback.
