Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Multi-skilled Technician to support RN-led patient care on the 12-hour night shift. You will perform basic tasks such as taking glucose, assisting with daily living activities, and helping with EKGs and phlebotomy under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school education, CPR certification within 60 days, and prior patient care experience preferred. Attendance at in-services and commitment to teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education required or equivalent.
• EKG and Phlebotomy courses completed upon hire.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take blood glucose measurements and record intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living for patients.
• Perform ordered EKGs and Phlebotomy duties as trained.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Support performance improvement initiatives.
