Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is hiring an EVS Housekeeper at Coral Gables Hospital for a 3pm–11:30pm shift. This full-time role involves cleaning patient rooms, public areas and supporting infection control in a hospital setting.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and strong teamwork. Benefits include health and vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, and holidays. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services in healthcare is a plus but not required.
• Skills: ability to follow instructions, attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways and public areas according to infection control standards.
• Floor care including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
• Trash and linen removal and transport to disposal or laundry facilities.
• Inventory maintenance and restocking of cleaning supplies; report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to patients, visitors and staff while protecting privacy.
• Assist with quality assurance checks and report safety or cleanliness concerns to supervisor or manager.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and infection prevention protocols.
