Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains unit information systems to ensure medical record integrity, forms management, timely response to faxes, and accurate patient data; supports admissions, discharges, transfers and short stay documentation.
• Maintains a safe, organized environment; monitors front desk traffic; assists with visitor policies and coordination with staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Identifies system problems and coordinates resolutions; responds to alarms and reviews staffing information.
• Demonstrates Cincinnati Children's CARES behaviors in interactions with patients, families, visitors and co-workers; ensures HIPAA compliance and secure handling of information.
