Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clinical rotation from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program preferred.
• Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA with reciprocity within 180 days if out-of-state CNA.
• Ohio or National EMS Registry listing preferred.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience in the last 3 years.
• CPR training and certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care - provide approved care under RN supervision and assist with activities of daily living.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors in interactions with patients, families, and coworkers; document changes and communicate needs.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and comply with infection control policies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of medical/surgical or equivalent clinical rotation from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution

Listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA ( reciprocity within 180 days if CNA from another state)

Listed on Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry

1+ years of patient care experience within the last three years

CPR training and maintenance of certification
